The Qur'an Sura XCIV — THE OPENING

J. M. Rodwell, 1861 · Public domain · about this text

1HAVE we not OPENED thine heart for thee?
2And taken off from thee thy burden,
3Which galled thy back?
4And have we not raised thy name for thee?
5Then verily along with trouble cometh ease.
6Verily along with trouble cometh ease.
7But when thou art set at liberty, then prosecute thy toil.
8And seek thy Lord with fervour.

Suras are in the standard order; verse divisions follow Rodwell's 1861 edition and do not always match the standard ayah numbering.
