The Qur'an Sura I
1PRAISE be to God, Lord of the worlds!
2The compassionate, the merciful!
3King on the day of reckoning!
4Thee only do we worship, and to Thee do we cry for help.
5Guide Thou us on the straight path,
6The path of those to whom Thou hast been gracious;–with whom thou art not angry, and who go not astray.
Suras are in the standard order; verse divisions follow Rodwell's 1861 edition and do not always match the standard ayah numbering.
