Psalms 131
A Song of Ascents. By David.
1 LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.Yahweh, my heart isn’t arrogant, nor my eyes lofty; nor do I concern myself with great matters, or things too wonderful for me.
2 Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me.
3 Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.Israel, hope in Yahweh, from this time forward and forever more.
