Psalms 130

A Song of Ascents.

1 Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.Out of the depths I have cried to you, Yahweh. ✦

2 Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my petitions. ✦

3 If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?If you, Yah, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand? ✦

4 But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.But there is forgiveness with you, therefore you are feared. ✦

5 I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.I wait for Yahweh. My soul waits. I hope in his word. ✦

6 My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.My soul longs for the Lord more than watchmen long for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning. ✦

7 Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.Israel, hope in Yahweh, for there is loving kindness with Yahweh. Abundant redemption is with him. ✦

8 And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.He will redeem Israel from all their sins. ✦
